Teams!
This is Cinthy, Tanya and Katherine. Tanya has been going to the YWAM Urban bases and is with us for a month. Katherine came from Canada and is volunteering the Summer. Cinthy, is staff in training and may be with us longer then the summer. It has been wonderful having their company and help
The team had some dances and dramas which they did for the homeless at "the Wall", a place where different churches feed the street people every night. There were around two hundred people who gathered there to get food. I enjoyed my time hanging out with some hippies.
The teams that are coming are asking if they can still gut houses, and we're still getting calls from people in need of just that. So we shell continue.
The group helped out my church, by cleaning, tearing down a ceiling and painting.
A cool piece of info: Teams often have a debriefing time or worship time before they go to sleep. With this team, like so many times before, God spoke and ministered to me as well as others.
44 wonderful came from Lake-Highlands in Dallas. A very special team, hard workers, real easy to talk to and fun people to be with.
