I am excited to let you know that I took the WV team to France, to visit some of Lethia's friends
If you looked at my update archive at my Spring Break in 2008, you would read how
Some of the West Virginians came last year for Spring Break and really connected with Lethia and her family in the Lower 9th ward. We went back to visit her and she made us Jambalaya. When she invites me and others over for dinner, she likes to share lots of loud gospel and rap music and show us her Katrina devastation videos. She often has relatives over aswell and this time there was a heated argument over tithing and politics. She felt bad for loosing her temper around the team and called us together to join hands and cried out a heart felt prayer to God.
If you would, please ask that God would hear her and give her freedom from herself, and give her grace to love & that He would give her a desire to read His word, that God would change her world-view and connect her with a good church.
